About Us

Founded at the end of 2019, Breezita is a slow fashion Irish brand based in Belfast, created and operated by me, Rowan Gough-Duffin. After studying Fashion for two years at the Belfast Met and grappling with an anxiety disorder, I realised that working for someone else would be too stressful. Driven by a desire to prove to myself that I could succeed independently, Breezita was born.

As an Irish speaker, I aim to infuse my Irish heritage into some of the clothing and accessories I create. My mission is to offer affordable, unique, handmade clothing that embodies my vibrant and funky style, while also allowing customers to proudly display their Irish heritage through our distinctive products.

The Sunflower logo is perfect for Breezita as it symbolises growth and vibrancy. It is also a heartfelt tribute to my late mother, as it was her favourite flower and mine.

At Breezita, sustainability is a core value. Each item is made to order, minimising fabric waste, and we utilise leftover materials to craft earrings. Our products are sustainably and ethically made, ensuring a guilt-free shopping experience for our customers. Every item in my shop is handmade with love and care.

Breezita has been instrumental in my personal development and growth. It forced me out of my comfort zone, helping me to combat my anxiety disorder. Through this journey, I’ve accomplished things I never imagined possible, including being a finalist in the NI Young Traders Market two years in a row.
